Indux a member company of Grupo Marmex

Marmex launched operations in 1952, initially importing tools and machinery from Germany to Mexico, in partnership with the German company Marxen, which is based in Hamburg. A few years later, the company initiated its production activities through the manufacturing of machined metal parts, thus beginning its transition from purely commercialization activities to offer manufacturing services. Thereafter, through the creation of a series of partnerships with global companies, all leaders in their sectors, Marmex diversified and perfected its manufacturing processes, finally leading the said group of companies to officially come together with the founding of Grupo Marmex, which currently has the following member companies: Indux, Etal, Etal-Baker, Cimbramex, and Stilia, all of which, as stated above, are leaders in their respective industries.

Grupo Marmex has maintained its status as an independent company to this day, and is still 100% Mexican, employing a workforce of 1,200 personnel, operating five production plants located throughout the Republic, and is managed under a regime of diversification and vertical integration with regard to its manufacturing activities, thus enabling it to become one of the country’s preferred suppliers due to the quality of its products and on-time delivery services, and distinguishing itself through its philosophy of being focused on its clients and collaborators, as well as its social and environmental values.
