Cold forming

At Indux we have an area specializing in cold forming (the process of manufacturing objects by the deformation of plastic, which is produced by the application of compression forces). This procedure is used to give certain form and properties to the metals and alloys to which it is applied. It should be noted that this metallurgical process does not produce chip removal, thus resulting in significant material savings when compared with other processes, such as machining.

Cold forming

Indux manufactures a wide range of products by way of the plastic cold forging process, among them are the following:

Rivets with colar
Stepped rivets
Specialized rivets
Semi-submersible rivets
Solid rivets
Tubular rivets

In the cold forging process our capacities range from 1/16 to 1/2" in diameter, and 1/4 to 4" in length, always guaranteeing the correct proportions. The raw materials commonly used at Indux in these products are steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper.
